OWNING MY STORY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE..
OWNING MY STORY.... At one time in my life this would have been the last thing from my mind, talking about and sharing things that I have been through. All I wanted to do was hide from i and forget it. But as I got older I started to see that people were connecting with and listening to my story and it was actually helping other women with confidence to own their own story. And this felt really great. It helped me see what I had been through so far in a completely different light.
I guess in among the mess we don't think of how we can help others. How sharing our story can make a huge difference and impact in the wold. Especially if your story is messy and not at all rainbows (Does that actually happen?)
STOP LOOKING FOR VALIDATION..
You don't need validation...there is someone out there who has been through or going through the same and needs to hear your story to know they are not alone. I found that when I first started sharing my story the most comfortable way was writing about it. This was an effective way to say what I was feeling and say what I wanted to say with no reservations. Give it a try and see how it works for you.
BE REAL AND AUTHENTIC....
The number one thing I found when sharing my story is to be authentic. Speak from the heart this is what inspires and changes lives. Never think people won't listen to your story. Like I said there is always someone who need to hear it. Tell it from the heart and soul and from a place of compassion. You don't have to share a photo of yourself with the world if your not comfortable It's about sharing the things that you are proud of in your life. My story is always evolving and growing..
Until next time
