HOW TO BE A POSITIVE MUM (EVEN WHEN YOU DON'T FEEL LIKE IT).

SCREAMING, TANTRUMS, FUSSY EATING HABITS....

These are all things we experience as a Mum am I right?.....and there are day's were we feel low and uninspired true? Well I have learned that these are normal experiences as a Mum. Becoming a Mum open up a whole new world of emotions And I'm sure I can say this for every Mummy out there, we want to be a positive light in our children's life. But our precious little ones can test us cant they! and we can feel like we are in a slump. Well Id like to share with you some strategies I use  to stay a positive light for my daughter EVEN WHEN WE DON'T FEEL .LIKE IT.... I guess we think of Motherhood as all warm and fuzzy (which it is !!) , but I realize now when we stop thinking that and take on all the things, all the emotions, life gets so much easier!!

RELEASE THE INNER CRITIC...
DON'T BE SO HARD ON YOURSELF! You are doing an amazing job. The one thing you should never do is compare yourself to another parent. you do what feels right for you and your child and do what is working for you,  Playing the comparison game can be dangerous, it can lead to depression and low self esteem. Admit when you are feeling anxious or stressed. If you need help don't be afraid to ask for it. Find comfort in your support network. Reach out for guidance. I am so blessed too have a wonderful support network which I am so grateful for.

TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF SO THAT YOUR BEST IS POSSIBLE.
Now this is something that all Mum's are guilty of (yes I see you with your hand up!) we get so devoted to our roll as a Mum that along thew way we forget about us.We are so fixated on doing our best that we forget to take care of us. And if we aren't feeling taken care of and dig deep into that self love, we don't have our strength and emotional capacity to do our best for our family. And I want to always want to be my best possible for my family. Now It's dang hard! to find the time sometimes but I make it  happen. Sometimes when Trevor and our shining star are gone to bed, I will put my feet up and listen to a podcast with a face mask on. Or I might just relax and read a little. Do what feels good and emotionally comforting to you... promise me you will do it?.

BREATHE..GO WITH THE FLOW.
I love structure and a plan..I'm hopeless when it comes to things changing in the structure of being familiar. But in a shout out to myself I am getting better. It's been a roller coaster of a ride learning how to 'Go with the flow'. But you have to expect the unexpected as a Mum. Every day is different with our children. I now wake every day and remind myself to go with the flow. When something comes up I might not have planned for, just roll with it in the moment. Do what you have to do. Sometimes we may not get something in particular done, but hey THERE IS ALWAYS TOMORROW!!

I really hope I have helped in some way to your journey as a positive Mum. I myself am only new to this role but am excited to share with you my experiences on this wonderful journey. Do you have any experiences you can share with us? we would love to hear from you. Take care of you...Together we can be a positive light in our children's life. Sounds pretty cool!!

WHAT I WANTED TO BE WHEN I GREW UP..

GRAB THE COFFEE BOIL THE KETTLE....SETTLE IN FOR A GOOD LAUGH

Well my friends it's been a long time coming but the time has come. I'm spilling the beans on WHAT I WANTED TO BE WHEN I GREW UP.

When I was a little girl I loved to sing and dance. Yep, that was me in my room with my hairbrush music on grooving like a champ!. you can probably guess what I wanted to be A SINGER!!.(like a lot of other little girls lol ) That was me. I dreamed of having my own rock star band and I was going to travel the world. My sister used to ALWAYS spy on me outside my room while I was singing and dancing (we still laugh about it to this day) But it meant so much to me. Being the shy quiet girl I was music was a way I loved to express myself. Can you relate to this?

How's that coffee tasting..Now if that wasn't enough to make ya laugh this will! Picture it...me all of 4'11 A SUPERMODEL!! Yes you read that right. I was totally devoted to following supermodels. Every month Mum used to go to the newsagent and purchase the SUPERMODEL MAGAZINE for me until I started working and then I would buy it for myself (thanks Mum!) I was so into how they took care of themselves, the kind of HEALTHY food they ate, no not just the lettuce leaves! and their skincare and Beauty secrets. I was fascinated with looking after my skin with a proper skin care routine. I guess that was where it all started for me, learning about healthy living and how to take care of my skin. Once I was 16 and started working, I loved having my own money to try all the skin care ranges which I did!. My favorite was TV star Victoria Principles The Principle secret and RECLAIM. Oh My Gosh they were such beautiful products. I even got my Mum hocked!! she also started using them.

Along the journey of following Supermodels I also became really into make up along the way,and all the latest techniques on how to apply it. The photos of their make up was always SO PERFECT!! (Thanks to the help of great photographers and great lighting!) But I can honestly say It was always a healthy inspiration. I was totally inspired by the art of fashion models, how they created such stunning photos!! not just their beauty.

The most enticing thing that captivated me was the fashion!! I loved looking at all the fashions from the worlds top designers on the models. They were so stylish and such beautiful colors. I remember one Christmas mum made us a new outfit, and she made me a pair of those pants that flair out at the bottom with a halterneck top.  It was red and white striped. I just loved it! I really felt like a Supermodel!! this was really in fashion at the time (thanks Mum !!)

OK are you sore from laughing yet!! I bet lol I am just remembering back to that time of my growing up, what inspired me and made me happy. What do you remember from your childhood? what did you want to be when you grew up? It's amazing how things change as we get older and how our personalities and dreams keep on developing and changing. Share I would love to hear your story. Comment below and lets inspire each other.

ORGANIZING TIPS AND TRICKS FOR BUSY MUM'S...

Hello to all the beautiful busy Mummy's out there.Need help with organization to help your days run more smoothly? This is for you. I'm sharing all my tips and tricks that I've put into place since becoming A mum to a very energetic 2 year old shining star. Sometimes it's a struggle right? Being a Mum, wife, working a full time 9-5 as a Home Daycare Mum. And of course working on building a  community for women. Can it be done? Yes it can!! With organization and Batch work you can make it work and be so more productive with your time and have more time with you.

I became A mum at 41, yep you read right. I'm totally OCD when it comes to routine, so when our little girl came into our life it was a huge change to revamp our routines and engage in the transitions that were taking place. But we did... I got myself pretty quickly into a groove that worked well right from the start. And it was a lot of simple little things we do to make life easier and have well rounded time management. Here are some of my tips and tricks that make our life easier and leave more time for me to do things that are really important to me ( Like what I"m doing right now, writing this for you!) You ready....Let's take a look.

NO 1.. At night before we go to bed once the dishwasher is finished we unstack and put away to save time in the morning.

NO 2. Make sure all lunches are ready to go for the next day. This is such a time saver not having to do early in the morning!. I make our shining stars sandwiches and left overs are in Lunchboxes for Trevor and I ready for the next day (he even has our coffee cups ready with coffee in to go!)

NO 3.  I make sure all washing done that day is folded and put away. No stock piles in this house. OCD I know.....but believe me at night it's the last thing I feel like doing BUT...it feels sp much better when it's done and the next day less to worry about. I don't know about you but washing is endless in my house!! How about you?

NO 4. Pre plan or cook meals on the weekends. I hate thinking of what's for dinner!! it drives me crazy. I'm so super blessed to have an amazing Husband who loves to cook. But he drives me  nuts when he never likes any of the meal ideas I think of. Mr Master chef  has arrived lol. So I let him go (I don't complain that for sure )

NO 5. Being a home daycare mum I .like to make sure during the day I have all the art and craft out I need ready for the activity planned for the next day. And the floor is vacuumed and moped at the end of every day.
So there you have it beautiful Mummy's. Some very simple strategies to implement to make your life as a mum a whole lot easier. Now I not saying it's easy..HELL NO!!! once 7.30 comes and our shining star has been tucked into bed. I just want to flake out on my comfy chair! But there is something else I want to talk to you about. Listen to your body. When you feel your body saying I need a rest , or I need to go to bed Early tonight. Do it. Nurture and love our body. Our family needs us to be strong and healthy for us to ask for help if we need it. Never be afraid to ask for help. Look after you first to make sure you can be the best Mum and wife you can be.

MY 5 GOALS FOR 2020 AS A BLOGGER AND A MUM !!

MY 5 GOALS FOR 2020!!

Now before you say Kristi what the hell, we still have half of 2019 to go... Well hear me out. I have big plans and big dreams so I'm already planning my strategy to end 2019 with a bang! and rock 2020 like a superstar! What do you think? pretty big calls right?  I want to show my daughter that you are enough and leave her a legacy she will remember forever. Well stay with me because I'm sharing with you my 5 GOALS FOR 2020.. Are you ready?

GOAL NO 1 START A PODCAST.
Say what! In what time am I going to start a podcast? Well When you are passionate about something you refocus and reschedule and MAKE IT HAPPEN!. This is something I've wanted to do for a while now and finally I have added it into my top 5. The topics I want to incorporate in the podcast will be for women to feel empowered and find the confidence and tools they need to go and make their mark in the world achieving their own success and dreams.

GOAL NO 2 CONTINUE TO GROW MY OWN SELF EDUCATION.
Now this is something you probably already know is important to me, self education. I want to keep learning and creating to build a world wide community for women to feel their self worth, beauty and capabilities of achieving anything they are passionate about.

KEEP STRIVING TO BUILD THIS COMMUNITY THAT MY DAUGHTER WILL BE PROUD OF..
When our little shining star came into our lives, I wanted to keep a p[promise to myself. I made a pact to myself that if I was ever lucky to be a mother. I would work hard to achieve my dreams and live a life I love. So that my daughter would have the encouragement and confidence to do the same.

BOOK MY LITTLE SHINING STAR INTO KINDY, DANCING AND SWIMMING.
These are things that I've been waiting my whole life to do! I know my little star is only 2. But you have to think about these important things, there are waiting lists for kindergarten. I want my daughter to have the best education and opportunities possible.

PLANNING OUR FIRST FAMILY HOLIDAY...
We are so excited to think about our first family vacation together. We are so eager to take our little shining star to our special paradise in the Whitsundays where the water is so clear and dazzling, and the sand is white and shines like diamonds. Spending days as a family watching her play in the sand. Making perfect memories to cherish forever.

whoa!!! I have a busy 2020 planned already. Have you thought about it yet? Do you have any goals already locked in for 2020?  What are they?

5 TIPS TO IMPROVE YOUR CRITICAL THINKING...

5 TIPS TO IMPROVE YOUR CRITICAL THINKING.

What is critical thinking?
It is the objective analysis and evaluation of an issue to form a judgement. Wow, I'm getting really precise here I hope that is OK. I really thought this was an important topic to touch on in the community. You know how important it is for me to inspire you with what I've learnt in hope that it can help you too!  I would like to pass on to you my friends and community some tips on how critical thinking can help in expressing our ideas and can be critical for self-reflection.

FIVE KEY BENEFITS TO CRITICAL THINKING.
These are some of the benefits that will help in so many aspects of your life..
- Critical thinking can make you feel happier.
- It is a key factor to career success.
- being a critical thinker can help you make better decisions.
- It can help improve relationships.
- Help decision making in difficult times.

Every one of us think, it's in our nature. Much of our thinking is left to itself. Which can sometimes be biased or distorted. And yet it's amazing how the quality of our life, what we produce or make is entwined with our thought. This also has such an effect on the way of achieving our goals and success. CRITICAL THINKING is part of our everyday being and routines. It helps us  have clear reasoning with our self and make decisions that are best for us.

Sometimes our thinking can be put to the test in times of fear and worry. This is something I've experienced first hand when I have been afraid or nervous in the mist of my medical journeys. I had to look deep into my heart where the right thing to do lied. I used to think that if I was scared or afraid I wasn't strong. Do you feel like this ?  But believe me my friends you are strong! Everything you need to make your dream and goals a reality is right there within you. Look a little closer and you will see.

PHEW... This was an in dept conversation! But I'm so glad I shared it with you. What did you think? did you find this helpful ? Comment and let me know what you think. Until next time Friends...

THINGS THAT INSPIRE ME...

What Inspires you ? This blog post is coming straight from the heart. So lets let our hearts do the talking. are you in?

I think it's so important to have something in our life that lights us up and inspires us. Don't you agree? Being inspired helps us feel good about our self and helps build a trust with confidence that if we let it will keep growing. I was very guarded when it came to been inspired, even quiet. I wasn't sure exactly how it was meant t help me. But over time I came out of that shell with step by step stepping out of my comfort zone and experiencing life. I would like to share with you some things that inspire me! Is that OK?

I find to be creative I need to be and feel inspired. Here's some things that I want you to  think about.. Write them down and look back on them when you need to inspire yourself to keep going for your goals.
- What inspires you to create?
- What inspires your ideas.
- What ignites your imagination.
I think about these things every day to stimulate my mind into a creative flow. Our mental well being is so delicate and needs to be nurtured and taken care of.

I have so many wonderful people in my life that inspire me. But I'm speaking straight from the heart so this is my list of what inspires me.
1 A good laugh!
2 A kind word.
3 An honest compliment.
4 A caring smile.
5 Success that comes from hard work.
6 A listening ear.
These things brighten up my day, inspire me to work hard to live a life I love and show my compassion to the world.

Now I want to let you in on a secret, the biggest inspiration to me is the gift to inspire others. Knowing that my journey can reach the heart of others and make a difference. We all have this incredible gift in us. I encourage you to use it to bring so much more meaning to your life and dreams. Together we can make a difference. Share this with a friend to inspire each other. We all need some inspiration in our life. I hope I inspire YOU!

Five Months Of Our Shining Little Star...

FIVE MONTH UPDATE!!

My Gosh as I am writing this I realize this is the last update before the HALF A YEAR UPDATE...SAY WHAT!!. I have seriously tried to not blink my eyes as the time is going so quickly and she is growing up soo fast. I get it now. I really do.

OVER THE LAST MONTH..
I really feel like this last month has been so super busy with work, mummy life and working on creating this community for women. But it has been another wonderful month with our Little shining star. The foundation that we have laid as a family is working perfect! She is developing her independence really well, she loves to do everything herself!

HIGHLIGHT OF THE MONTH
This month we had our very first Birthday Party which was such a blast! She had so much fun with her little friends. It was sooo cute my heart was melting. It was a fairy themed part so we wore a little pink dress with tulle on the bottom and carried her little fairy wand , my Mummy Heart just welted. Such a proud moment for me as a Mum. I loved every minute, watching her play and sing Happy Birthday followed but yummy Birthday Cake! (of course the eyes lit up for this part!)

THINGS WE LOVE THIS MONTH
OK so this month we are really into music. And on REPEAT in our house is..
1. Baby shark (constantly!)
2. Five little Monkeys (constantly!)
3. Twinkle little Star (constantly!)
She really loves her music! Another ritual she has with Daddy is looking at the moon every night before bed. She loved the moon. It really is so precious to see daddy and Daughter time. such precious moments to treasure forever.

HOW'S MUMMY DOING !!
WOW! Mum is doing OK!. I'm still working on finding a balance working full time and manage all the other things outside of work. But it is become clearer and that balance is starting to work in my favor with learning as we go along. Can you relate to this? It is a work in process for this Mum/ Daycare Mum and I'm tackling the challenge head on! I treasure being home with her every day.

WHAT'S NEW..
Well we are planning our first family vacation to our favorite paradise...Hideaway Bay Whitsundays. We are so excited thinking about our first family vacation and sharing with her our paradise. Every year we go around October when the weather is just right.

THIS MONTH CAN BE WRAPPED UP AS...
This month can be wrapped up as super fast!! experiencing new fun things and perfect in every way with our little shining star. She makes us laugh every day with something new. We look forward to so many more.

HOME SWEET HOME.

HOME SWEET HOME, my sanctuary. The place I feel totally comfortable and relaxed. Now I would like to give you the grand tour and show you my favorite places. We are so very fortunate to have a spacious split level home. Way to many rooms to clean!! (Three to be exact) Lets take a grand tour.. COME ON IN...

OUR LIVING AND DINNING AREA.
I always wanted an open plan living and dining area. This area has had some wonderful Christmas memories and space to create. I love being able to have room to move and spread my wings. This area is where I do all my writing and creative work. And where our beautiful little girl plays and laughs. We love country colors which is why we chose Browns and greens. It feels so homely and cozy!! You agree? But we actually don't use the dinning table ! We eat in our chairs in front of the TV!! Is this you too?

OUR KITCHEN
This space in the house is a very shared space. Trevor loves to create yummy masterpieces here. And I'm not complaining, the man loves to cook!! He says it relaxes him. So I say GO FOR IT HONEY.!! Sometimes I have to fight to get into the kitchen, you've never seen anything like it!! It is such a blessing to have a kitchen with room and that open sort of feel. Do you know what I mean? And I have plans to renovate and freshen up. ONE DAY... I especially love open plan kitchen because I can see our little girl playing while Mummy is busy in the kitchen! BONUS..

MY DAYCARE AREA..
This is my area....an area where little dreams are thought of and a magical place of learning. To be quite honest I never thought I would be an EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR. Helping children with their educational start in life. When I set up this area I wanted it to feel like home, bright and cheery. This space used to be an other living area with a lounge and TV. This is the bottom of the three levels. It also has a bathroom and toilet and laundry as well. Perfect for starting my own business. So the Journey began. But this is a strictly 9-5 area. Hey..This Daycare Mumma needs a break on the weekends!

OK. Thank you for letting me give you the grand tour of our HOME SWEET HOME. Did you enjoy it? Comment below and share your favorite places in  your home....

THINGS I WISH I KNEW 10 YEARS AGO...

Well stop everything!! Hold on .......

THINGS I WISH I KNEW 10 YEARS AGO! This could take a while. When I think about this chapter in our life so many hard life lessons and emotions start swirling. Fear, anger, hatred. This was during the period of my life where I felt a huge load on my shoulders.Strap in and let me take you on a ride my friend. I'm opening up a whole new can of worms......

THE FIGHTER...
Ten years ago....This was when we were still in stages of going through the adoption process. WHOA!! I wish I knew what I know now about the whole process. This was still the season for me when I had ZERO self confidence and no self belief in myself. Fast forward 12 years and that person has CHANGED!!. I WISH I KNEW THEN how strong I actually was and what I was capable of achieving. I look back at this season and I had so much anger at myself. I actually hated being me, resentment because nothing came EASY. Every little thing I felt I had to work that much more harder for than others. And now.....BRING IT ON. I take every challenge with strength and courage and FIGHT. With a new lesson learned every day.

LEARNING SOMETHING NEW EVERY DAY....
This would have been a huge game changer for me. Ten years ago I had no idea how to chase my goals or dreams, or even what to do with them!!. I didn't realize that every day you need to work on something that will bring you closer to your goal. Gaining the knowledge you need to move forward. I just kept listening to that voice saying I wasn't good enough or someone like me doesn't dream things like that! Now... after learning to love myself and it was possible to achieve all of my dreams, and focusing on my own education to continue to DREAM BIG....

THERE WAS MORE TO LIFE THAN WHAT I WAS CONTINUALLY GOING THROUGH.
I guess when you are on a continuous cycle of struggling with health battles, you begin to think that this is your life and all there is going to be. I didn't realize that outside my normal there was a whole world of opportunities for me despite the hardships life was throwing at me. When I finally saw past my struggles, I started to understand who I was, what I was capable of achieving for myself and what it was I wanted to do in this life.

DON'T BE AFRAID TO TRY SOMETHING NEW..
Thinking back to who I was ten years ago. My comfort zone was my safe place and I never thought of stepping out of, does this resonate with you? Fast forward to now as I know myself so much better. It's something I strive to do EVERY SINGLE DAY. if you want to achieve something worthwhile and important you have to step out and walk a new path. Trying something new will bring you the success you want to build for yourself.

The truth, there is so much that I wish I knew 10 years ago. But you know what? This is the way life happened for me and I accept that and take pride in what I have achieved. How about you? wjhat is it you wish you knew 10 years ago. I would love for you to share... comment below  to share your thoughts. Can you relate to any of this ?

ARE YOU READY TO DO THIS...

OK OK.... This is something completely different. This is about YOU!!. yep you read right. This is to help you accomplish something you really want to but feel you are not good enough or fear of not having what it takes. So what do you want to accomplish?
- A new job/career path
- more self confidence in yourself.
- Be your own boss and start a business.
- Impact the lives of others in an inspiring way
These are just a few....
Let me tell you my friend if you have the passion for achieving something.....you have exactly what it takes. Now go back and read that sentence again. OK..ARE YOU READY TO DO THIS ?

Are you like I was? Always having excuses why you shouldn't do this or can someone like me really do something like this? Sound familiar? Well I want to show you how to overcome this when these negative thoughts come into your mindset. What really has helped me get passed this and keep striving for success. Because we can't be successful unless we challenge ourselves. We need to walk towards our challenge to accomplish it. Heck I'm not saying it's easy but I know you can do it.

Now I'm going to take a wild guess but as women we all want success. Am I right?. Well I was so afraid of success, it dang near terrified me!! All the negative thoughts that would swirl around in my head. I'm going to share with you an exercise that I do to help boost my mindset into the positive direction. When I have negative thoughts that I can't accomplish something I write it down. Then .....I counteract that with writing down a reason why I CAN AND WILL achieve that. The positive thoughts and feelings that take over is JUST WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED. If you believe what you have written and just GO FOR IT you will start to accomplish what you truly desire. The key to this is BELIEVE IN YOU. And if you keep practicing this exercise YOU WILL!

If you keep doing this as part of a daily practice of self belief the magic will start to unfold. I'll let you in on another key practice. SHARE YOUR KNOWLEDGE. You have something to teach the world!! When you do, you are truly making such an impact in this world my friend. Don't be afraid to share. There are people who need what you have to offer. Knowledge is learning and education the key factors that make us a stronger force in helping others make an impact the world we live in. Don't hide you valuable experiences, they are part of who you are and want to become.

So now I want you to go and start putting these simple practices to work. I would love to hear how you go, comment on the blog if your excited to accomplish something amazing! It's time to let you shine and make your long lasting mark in this world. ARE YOU READY!

MEMORY FROM MY CHILDHOOD..

MEMORY FROM MY CHILDHOOD..... This is something I have never really written about but I would love to share as these memories are so very dear to me and I have been thinking a lot about about. Growing up I spent a lot of time with someone that was always a guiding light and great love in my life. My Nona... Is their someone special like that in your life?

This is the hardest blog I've had to write as I had no idea where to start. There are sooo many beautiful memories I have with my Nona. She was my world. Growing up I spent a lot of time at Nona's. Weekends I would pack a bag and go to stay for the weekend. School Holidays I would spend there and I loved going to church every Sunday, and Christmas Eve Mass was so beautiful, she loved listening to me sing all the Beautiful Carols. I can still see the smile on her face.

My Nona was always a very early riser. The kitchen light would be on before 5am most times. And when I was there I would do the same. We would get up and have our coffee and talk, i loved this. And winter time we would have a splash of Brandy instead o f Milk to warm us up!! These were very special times that I think about every day. Nona had a nick name for me kiki. And I would always sign Birthday, Christmas and Mother's day cards Love kiki. This always made her laugh. And I did this always. I still have all the cards she gave me which started with To My kiki!! I just These are special memories I will cherish this memory from my childhood forever.

Now this will bring a smile and a laugh to your face. It still does to me!!. My Nona and I were Soap fan of Days Of Our Lives, Young And The restless and Bold And the Beautiful. So on holidays at Nona's with my sister and my cousins, they would be out riding bikes and playing, where was I ? Upstairs watching all the soaps with Nona. I WAS A DIE HARD FAN!! AND STILL AM TO THIS DAY. Do you like the soaps?

One very special thing I will remember is my Nona's cooking!! OH MY GOSH!! The aromas that came from her kitchen were mesmerizing!!. Spaghetti, beautiful soups and of course Gnocchi and Polenta at Christmas time. She would spend hours preparing the most beautiful foods for Christmas lunch and Dinner. And of course we would absolutely stuff ourselves until we could hardly move....

So these are very precious memories to me and will always remain that way. She taught me so much about courage and inner strength. I would not have gotten through my life so far without this. Would you like to share about that someone special in your life? comment below I would love to hear from you. Thank you for letting me share mine...

DEAR KRISTI: OVERCOMING THE FEAR OF FAILURE.

DEAR KRISTI:

I have read your story and know that your dream is to build my own 7 figure or more online business. This inspires me so much! I have been writing and sharing my story for a while now. I can sometimes be a little introverted, and quiet. And perfection is a huge part of who I am.  Do you have any advice on how to share my story that is real and authentic with a strong life connection. How do I overcome the fear of failure?

It is appreciated all that you do and share.
Yours Sincerely..THE FEAR OF FAILURE...

Fearing Failure...WOW those are some pretty good questions there. I really this this is a natural instinct to have The Fear Of Failure when taking on something of this dynamic and magnitude. Will the fear of failure always be there....more than likely yes. But you know there are ways to get on top of it and continue to crush your dreams and live the life you want. But what If I did fail? I want you to imagine I'm standing right beside you cheering your name, encouraging you to just GO FOR IT!!  ( I can just picture this..hilarious!). I want you to realize that you have something special to offer the universe. And you have the strength, courage and creativity to make your dream happen.

I have thought out every possible outcome of this, having myself set to fail. Having a plan for when I fail, and what to tell family and friends. Even though I am already a successful business owner being a Home Daycare Mum, this is my passion that I'm working so hard for. And I then realized that they would be proud of me for trying and giving it my all. If I did fail....I would survive. And then I didn't feel as scared anymore. I believed that I was worthy, I was enough and deserving of success. We have to own our story and message and make sure we kindly whisper it t those that want to listen. Invite people into your life and world.

I don't want to be "part of the group" . I want to be different and set myself apart from others and be someone that will be remembered for years to come. I want to believe in my own story telling way that's special and unique. I will keep listening to that inner voice cheering me on, tackle through all the growing pains and make a difference.

5 SIMPLE THINGS MUMS CAN DO TO CARE FOR THEMSELVES.

Hello my fellow beautiful Mummy's.  I want you to take a seat and get comfortable, take a deep breath. But not for long because hey we're Mum's and there are things to get done right ?

As a new Mum, Wife, Daycare Mum my days and to do lists are NEVER ENDING...can you relate?.
So I want you to not get angry when I add more to that list. And these things are my absolute NOT NEGOTIABLE. 5 things that help me get through every day the healthiest physically and emotionally. Like me I haven't a doubt you already been negotiating with the kids, maybe the boss?. So now I'm giving us both to make these 5 non-negotiable things part of your to do list.

1/ DRINK WATER.. I was such a coffee addict. Not that I drank to much. But I was so believing in the feeling that If I didn't have my coffee I couldn't get through the day. My energy would just keep fading. SIMPLY NOT TRUE. I would feel  more fatigued after every cup.  I don't drink coffee anymore, I love my Milo in the morning now. Drinking more water will not only help you look and feel younger but help reduce the fine lines and wrinkles the natural way.

2/ EAT HEALTHY.. Eating healthy is the healthiest way to naturally give you all the energy you need to get through the day. A moto I like to follow is eat the crap feel like crap. When I eat lighter I feel lighter and have more energy for my Family and the people who are depending on him.

3/ GET REST WHEN YOU CAN.. Now I bet you want to hit me because you think I mean take a nap. NO NOT AT ALL.. I mean when you are feeling frazzled or over worked and your starting to feel CRAZY, when time allows just take a couple of minutes and sit where you can. YOUR TIRED!!. most women I know do not have time for a Midday nap. But for me as a Daycare Mum when the kids are sleeping and I've had my lunch. I just sit and close my eyes. I like to sit in mediataion pose. The time fame you do this is totally up to you and your daily circumstances. Just 10 minutes is all you need.

4/ MOVE YOUR BODY.. This is so important. Moving our body releases stress and any built up tension from the long day. Just like the coffee we thought gave us energy, moving your body actually does!!. The key thing is to find an exercise routine you like and enjoy.

5\ STAY STRONG..  I find this so important. Don't do something you don't want to do. NO is actually a sentence. When you say no to the little things the important things are much easier to say YES to. Don't overload yourself when it feels like you are being pulled in every direction. And stand up for yourself if you don't like the way someone is speaking to you. Don't be taken advantage of.

Remember self care is not selfish. Take care of yourself as well as you take care of those around you.....

HOW TO STAY MOTIVATED IN LIFE AND CHASING YOUR GOALS..

Are you looking for WAYS TO STAY MOTIVATED? Chasing your goals and dreams is a lot of hard work and discipline right? And sometimes we tend to get overwhelmed. I raise my hand to that one!! But honestly the key point is to remember why....why did I start in the first place, why do I want to achieve that goal? Remembering this keeps me focused, motivated and on track to reaching my goal. Knowing my strengths and weaknesses
  and build on them.

Unfortunately motivation doesn't come in a magic bottle or pill. So We have to plan and have strategies in place to stay on path. Choose goals that interest you and use rewards to make you feel a sense of achievement and accomplishment. Here are some strategies that have helped me and I hope will help you too.. Let's dive on in..

1 Have a plan or strategy but be prepared to change the course !! Keep on trying don't give up.
2 I always have a plan on how I will deal with a lack of motivation. Have ideas in place to help boost you up when you need it.
3 Keep in mind that end goal. What it is you are aiming for.
4 Never be afraid to ask for help to get to where you want to go.
5 I always have a check with how I'm feeling and my reason for why I'm doing this and why I should carry on.

Sustaining motivation can be hard at the best of times. Motivation is not magic.But...you can tap into it and work on it continually and cater it to suit your needs. You can cultivate WAYS TO STAY MOTIVATED. Go ahead and try these strategies to help you succeed in life. I would love to hear how you go. Stay motivated and reach for the stars.

MY FIRST MOTHER'S DAY IS APPROACHING...

As I approach my VERY FIRST MOTHER'S DAY, I am so filled with gratitude and love for the opportunity to be A Mum. But I am also very much reminded and thinking of all the other Women and couples who are still in their season of waiting. A place we were for a very long time. I can still feel the disappointments, the anger and even resentment. All those emotions as we were in our season of waiting. I guess a .little part of me feels sad to be feeling happy.

But I felt so drawn and compassionate to writing this to send a message to all the other women and couples who are still waiting. You are certainly not forgotten. My prayers and thoughts are with you as I hold our little shining star in my arms. I am thinking of you. And I believe with all my heart your season will come. And I truly hope that you keep believing it too. Through our almost 12 year wait, I felt hopeless, I lost my faith. But through it all....I never lost hope....... And This Sunday I will close my eyes and remember how it felt and respect that you are feeling this.

So My message to all the women still in their season of waiting this Mother's Day. You are not forgotten and not alone. You are in my heart. And may the love and support of family and friends offer you comfort through the dark clouds of disappointment. And the strength of hope to keep you believing. And I wish all the beautiful Mummies out there a wonderful Mother's Day especially if it is your VERY FIRST MOTHER'S DAY. And I encourage you to take a minute to think of those who are still waiting for their miracle.  If this has helped you I would love for you to comment below.

All My Love

OWNING MY STORY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE..

OWNING MY STORY.... At one time in my life this would have been the last thing from my mind, talking about and sharing things that I have been through. All I wanted to do was hide from i and forget it. But as I got older I started to see that people were connecting with and listening to my story and it was actually helping other women with confidence to own their own story. And this felt really great. It helped me see what I had been through so far in a completely different light.

I guess in among the mess we don't think of how we can help others. How sharing our story can make a huge difference and impact in the wold. Especially if your story is messy and not at all rainbows (Does that actually happen?)

STOP LOOKING FOR VALIDATION..
You don't need validation...there is someone out there who has been through or going through the same and needs to hear your story to know they are not alone. I found that when I first started sharing my story the most comfortable way was writing about it. This was an effective way to say what I was feeling and say what I wanted to say with no reservations. Give it a try and see how it works for you.

BE REAL AND AUTHENTIC....
The number one thing I found when sharing my story is to be authentic. Speak from the heart this is what inspires and changes lives. Never think people won't listen to your story. Like I said there is always someone who need to hear it. Tell it from the heart and soul and from a place of compassion. You don't have to share a photo of yourself with the world if your not comfortable It's about sharing the things that you are proud of in your life. My story is always evolving and growing..

Until next time

MUMMY LIFE.. AND ME

MUMMY LIFE....I'm not sure I could even begin to describe how perfect it has been. I wanted to do this to share with you how I feel about being our little girl's Mummy. Of course there are some trying chaos driven days. A normal Mom life am I right? But when I look into her eyes or hold her all the messiness just seems to disappear. To all the Mum's out there do you feel this too?

As I write this our little shining star has just woken from her sleep and is sitting at the table eating her banana for afternoon tea smiling at me with Banana all over her face!! I love moments like these. But there are moments where Mummy Life can get really challenging!! Moments like dinner time when they refuse to eat what you've made (Yep we definitely fall into this category!!). Or when they won't stay out of the toilet and bring you the toilet block when your back was turned for just a minute!! Anyone else?... But this is all part of making memories as a family, And some pretty good tales to tell for her 21st!!

BIGGEST TRANSITIONS SO FAR..
Before I was a Mum I used to hear other Mum's all the time say "they are growing so fast!" Putting herself in her big girl bed was a really big moment so surreal with a few tears shed. Now that I am a Yummy Mummy myself (I always wanted to say that!) I truly know what they mean. Every day I wake up our Little Shining Star is doing something new and looks so much like a little lady. But let me clear this up she is NOT. My girl is such a tomboy, she loves shirts and shorts and tells me "No Thank you" to wearing a dress. Yep attitude and terrible two stage has begun!! Another huge transition is Daddy going back to work full time and Mummy working full time. The day's schedule has to be down to a fine art!!. All preparation is super organised lunches, dinners, clothes. SUPER MOM and SUPER DAD has it covered.. We are still a great team thanks SUPER DAD Xx.

ENTERING MOTHERHOOD IN A DIFFERENT WAY..
Well I can honestly say yes It was scary. after years of fertility struggles and going through processes it was like a whirlwind come through and instantly within days our lives changed forever. Instant planning and WHAM our Little Shining Star was here!! But you know We wouldn't have it any other way. That was they way God intended and it was perfect in every way. MUMMY LIFE is the most beautiful experience. Did you struggle with Infertility? Have you started your family through Adoption or Fostering. I would love to hear your story . WAYS TO BE MORE ORGANISED..

Green Light Green Light..Yep I need this for myself as much as I'm writing it for you my friend. I am a woman who needs to be organised, if I'm not I am totally lost and my day is literally like a comedy club!. Now don't get me wrong being spontaneous is super important in life too. But I LOVE to be organised. (Well I try!). OK are you an organised person? Do you need help ? What does your day look like ? Well I got ya back with some of my tips I use every day. So lets dive in.

When wee all live such busy lives and the chaos starts from the moment we wake(Like me!). We need a little help with the everyday so things can go a lot more smoothly. It is so important when you have a plan in place to follow, and yes sometimes that plan gets gets thrown out the window. But it truly creates more balance in the everyday grind. Me..I'm not always a person that does well without a plan, I get anxious without structure. This sometimes drives my husband crazy!! So without further ado. Her are some helpful tips to keep your day more organised...

1 Write things down. I could not survive a day without doing this. So many different things happening in my day, my mind needs a little help. Write down the most important that you have to remember. .
2 Write deadlines and schedules. This is a must for me!!Prioritize the important and and write a deadline in your diary or calendar. Where you go to first and foremost everyday.
3- Give everything a home. To make it less stressful when you need something make sure things have their own place. That way you don't get so stressed when you go to get something and can't find it. I hate this!!!
4 Declutter regularly. I do this often. It saves so much time and accumulation of things that will just end up getting in your way and waste time that lets face it we don't have!

So what do you think? Simple but effective strategies that will help your day run more smoothly and productive. Now these are things I think we would all like. So go ahead and try these and let me know how you go and If they help you and your everyday. Comment below.... Until next time

MY TO DO LIST....AND THE TIME TO DO IT.

To Do List......yep it's absolutely a mile long and yep I never get done what I plan in a day. Can you relate? But we sure as heck try right? Isn't it so crazy how as we get older the more we try to cram in in a day. The more we think we have to have done. Well this is me...I'm saying it out load. Constantly mind scrambling and adding to my do to list, and then cringing at the thought of how the hell am I going to get all this done. I mean seriously we need to stop doing this to ourselves and turning our to do list into a positive you agree?

Sometimes I think our mind is constantly going round and ticking constantly like a clock never stopping.  And this is me...constantly ticking and going. But after listening to some of the best life coaches in the world like Tony Robbins and Dean Graziosi. I had the best tools on how to handle this. How to get the most out of my to do list.  And I want to share a couple of important things I have learned...

1- Prioritize your to do list to what is most important. Get done what will turn the needle in what you are trying to achieve in your day. What will get you to where you want to go.
2- Separate what is trivial and what is important to your why. Why do you need to get this done. Is this going to create the impact you want to put out there. Weather your a stay at home Mum, your working a 9-5 with a Family or wanting to start a Business.

I really found this to help me so much keeping me more grounded in my busy hectic day to day and I know it will help you too.Stay focused on the goal and use your to do list to strategize your path Have you Subscribed yet to receive more helpful tips and strategies I use to live your best life. Comment below and let me know what you think. Share if this helps you and with a friend if you think they need this. . Until next time...
