A GOAL I AM WORKING TOWARDS IS RELEASING MORE OF MY AUTHENTIC SELF.

Our Authentic self. The real you! This is something I encourage all women to do. This is where the true greatness lies, and how we become remarkable in life and success. I work so hard to show every strength of my authentic self and leave an inspirational footprint on the hearts of other women. Because being your authentic self is who you are at your deepest core.

As I've gotten older, I've noticed more and more that we tend to try and be more like the people that inspire us, instead of learning from them and letting our true authenticity shine through. These are 5 powerful ways to become your best self:
1 Try new thing's! you can't let yourself become complacent.
2 Pursue your dreams.
3 Focus on self care.
4 Keep up your motivation.
5 Adopt good habits both personally and health wise.
Go ahead and try and see how they work for you. This is the time to stretch and grow yourself. It's the best journey of self discovery.

When you really think about it it's instinctive for us as humans to show up as our true authentic self. One of my inspirations Bren'e Brown says "Authenticity is the daily practice of letting go of who we think we are supposed to be and embracing who we are." So true right? Sometimes we get caught up in pleasing others that we loose sight of our Authentic self, and the others we are trying to help also don't have connection to their true self either. The key to finding your Authentic self is nurturing your own physical well being. If you are not doing this you will never find true happiness.

Your authentic self will not show through if you don't sleep enough or your not feeling well. If your not feeling well your mind won't either. So treat your body with some love will ya and make it a priority. You will start to see amazing things unfold in your life and the happiness you are looking for will begin to show.

Give yourself some space! Finding your Authentic self requires a  lot of focusing inwards towards yourself. This sounds easy but for some can be really hard. Especially if you are someone who has spent a lot of time focusing on others before your self. So it's better to distance yourself from people who break down your authentic self and fill you with negative thought.

So I want to remind you to make time for yourself and see all the possibilities that are right there in front of you. Trial and error is the key, try on different selves and see how they fit and what feels comfortable and just be the best you that you can be ..

THE ONE THING THAT REALLY HELPS SELF CONFIDENCE.

The one thing today so many women lack is confidence in themselves! Yep I put my hand up to that one, but after making changes to the way I look at myself my self confidence has sky rocketed. Self confidence is our own belief and trust in our abilities, trustworthiness, powers and reliability. A self confident person does not doubt themselves, without sounding cooky or arrogant. It's just as simple as that.  But this one idea will help you boost your confidence and stand proud of your self, that is GET TO KNOW YOURSELF. Yes take the time to look at who you are,and get to know you on a more personal level.

Getting to know yourself means knowing your own strengths and weaknesses. your dreams and desires, and passions and your fears. More importantly knowing your purpose in life. When we get to know our self we learn our values and strengths, things that we excel in and really feel good about. This is the sure way to being happy and living a life we love. So many women just think they have to settle for what is because of lack of not knowing who they truly are and their capabilities.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOURSELF.
Ask your self this question. This is a great starting point to getting to know you,. I'll start it off. I would describe myself as :
- Passionate about my work.
- ambitious and driven.
- I'm a people person.
- A natural leader and communicator.
Now I want you to do the same. I would love it if you would describe yourself in the comments below. I would love to get to know YOU a little better.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO FIND YOURSELF.
Finding you is an experience that is hard to describe. It's enlightening and the feeling of becoming self -efficient and doing things for your self is like a feeling of freedom. A feeling that you believe you can do and achieve anything. When we don't know who we are it's something that becomes very hard to ignore and the curiosity becomes a very strong force. As women I think it's so important that we know who we are to see our own strength and place in this world. Click the link below to grab my freebie How to change your mindset and achieve your dreams. THIS ONE IS FOR THE HATERS..

Have you ever experienced people who just don't get what you do?  Or just think your braking up the wrong tree. I think we all come across that In our life at some point or another. But the question is how are you going to handle it? The way I figure is we have two options. We can give in to the haters or stay focused on our own dreams and  happiness and keep going for gold! Let yourself accept the haters and people who judge you. Then keep doing what lights you up.  You have something to offer the world that only you have my friend.

Up until a few years ago, I would have been devastated to know I had haters out there. It would have crushed me to the point of giving up whatever I was doing. No matter how passionate I was or how much I loved it. But after making mindset changes I'm more determined now to do what I love and just be happy. I encourage you to look closely at your mindset and ask yourself, is this benefiting me or my dream. Is this empowering me to move forward.

BODY IMAGE.
Now this is a subject to talk about for days. Body image was so very important to me, I was so engrossed in trying to have the perfect image. Until I realized that ..I was perfect just the way I am. And you are too! I want you to say it with me, ready 1 2 3  I AM PERFECT.  There is so much criticism out there concerning the way a women's body looks. Those people are not looking into the eyes. The eyes are the window to the soul. when they sparkle and light up,so does our bodies. Own how beautiful you really are. Let the confidence and strength just shine through. Focus on the people who you inspire and motivate, while it's still important to accept the people who judge. Worrying or stressing about it will take up space in your mind that should be filled with the plan to live the life you love.

YOUR BELIEFS.
Never be afraid to voice what you believe in, but never raking down what someone else might believe in. We are individuals with the right to our own belief and opinion. As humans this is a part of our nature. Someone else having a different view of a point you are making. If what we believe is not hurting anyone and still showing compassion and kindness why can't we have our beliefs. It happens in our families, someone not believing in a way you would go about doing something.

Don't fear the haters, accept that and never loose site of the path you are on. as they say the world would be a dull place if we were all the same. We need some variety and spice in the human race don't you think?

READ HERE TO BECOME A BETTER WRITER.. AND FIND PEACE.

Calling all my writer friends. I'm so passionate about my writing. Writing changed my life in so many wonderful ways. Been such an introvert I kept so much to myself, now being both an introvert and extrovert writing has steered me into a whole new way I see myself. I faced a lot of my fears to stop holding myself back from chasing my dream. I still have fear, A LOT. But that fear is my friend now and keeps me focused on what the bigger picture is. If you love writing I'm here to help ya my friend with ways that have helped me continue to hone the craft of writing.

GET CLEAR BEFORE YOU SIT DOWN AND WRITE.
This is really helpful tip. Be clear , ask yourself questions about why you are writing and what you want to write about. I find writing down what the message is I want to put forward and who i it going out to. This is a great foundation for putting together the topic and outcome of what you are writing.

TEAR DOWN THE PIECES.
When you are clear on what you are writing, tear down the story into strips of the most important points of value. When you do this you are making sure you tell all of your story and not leaving out anything critical to your expressions. You are zooming in on your feelings and looking deep within the surface.

ASK YOURSELF WHAT WOULD MY IDOL WRITE..
I do this all the time!. Sometimes when I'm sitting there with wanting to write something but can't put into the write words, I ask myself how would my inspiration write this?  I will go back and look at ways they have expressed themselves in their writing. But never copy!! The point is to observe how they express their message out into the world.

WRITE FROM YOUR HAPPY PLACE.
To get the full benefits of how writing can help you emotionally and physically. Always write from a place where you feel happy. Never write from a place of anger or frustration. If what you are writing brings some sadness for you, writing from a place of being happy will bring more clarity over your objective. Coming from the heart is the purist and authentic way to write.

END ON A STRONG NOTE.
This is a must! finishing strong will help put into perspective your own reasons for wriring what you have written. A time to heal if that is what you need. Look at it like a chapter in a book, one door closing and another door is open.

Writing has so many incredible facets. Have you tried writing? Give it a go and tell me what you think I would love to hear from you. Click the link below and grab my free guide to how I found joy again after my journey with infertility. Until next time

ANXIETY PROBLEM ? THIS ONE THING WILL HELP FIX IT..

Anxiety..what is it really?

It is an intense, excessive and persistent worry or fear about everyday situations. A fast heart rate, sweaty palms and rapid breathing may occur when feeling anxiety. Yes I have experienced this and I have found ONE thing that really helped me stay in control with my feelings. MEDITATION.  Now I know some of you may laugh at this, but hear me out.

Up until about four years ago, I was a walking nightmare! Everything would make me anxious and stressed. I would get nervous about having to do anything that involved a lot of people (Different story now) But I still feel like this sometimes and then my amazing husband reminds me of what I have to do. MEDITATE.  Meditation is the quieting and stillness of the mind. The oneness we have with our breath. Let'a face it life is pretty crazy for this generation, fast paced and non stop yeah?  Enter the beauty of meditation...

Anybody can meditate, there is no right or wrong way or time frame for which to do. As long as you can feel your breath and your chest rise and fall with each breath, you are meditating my friend. Now I want to walk you through a meditation process. How does that sound? Let's begin..
- Find a quiet comfortable place you can sit and relax.
- Let your body feel like jelly, nice and loose then close your eyes and begin to feel your breath.
- really feel each inhale and exhale of the breath
-  With each breath out feel the tension, anxiety and stress just melt away. Imagine it flowing straight out of your body.
- Anything that pops into your mind see it as clouds rolling by, acknowledge them and let them go like clouds floating by.

Now is this simple, no of course not if you have never done it before or have trouble slowing your mind down. But every time you do it it becomes easier and feels so dang good TRUST ME. I learned to have so much more control over my mind. Just to clear it up some people think you need to meditate for an hour or more every day. No no no, you do what you can. Even if it is just 5 minutes to close your eyes and just breathe, that's great! and if you choose you can gradually do more as you get more comfortable sitting with yourself and building a strong bond with your mind and body.

So are you going to give it a try? Send me an Email and let me know. If you have any questions I would love to hear form you and I would love to help. Send me an Email and don't forget to subscribe free to receive weekly inspiration straight from me to you (link below)

HOW INFERTILITY FEELS.

Infertility, does the pain ever go away,. No it never completely goes away, infertility alters the course of your life. But if you don't do what you can to find a way to feel joy again, before you realize you miss out on all the happy times that come into your life.  I'm digging deep and sharing what my infertility journey was like for me.

I can remember so clearly when I found out I was never going to be able to experience the joy of carrying a baby and giving birth. I had an idea of what was coming, having Turner Syndrome it was a classic feature. But I wanted to find out from the Doctors. So off I went and had all the tests and it was confirmed, the chances of me ever falling pregnant were very low. I remember walking out that day feeling crushed and brokenhearted. I never really knew anyone that had faced this kind of Infertility so i didn't know how common it was. It really felt isolating and scary.

INFERTILITY FELT LIKE BEING OUT OF CONTROL.
Being a Mummy was a huge part of my dream since I was really young. I loved kids and knew I would make a great Mum. Having a family with my soul mate was part of my life plan. But as I found this can change so very quickly with no control. I am such a plan follower, I feel centered when I plan for what is coming next and prepare for it. But this was something I had no control over and could not change. It was set in stone.

Even though I had done research and knew what coming, I was still not prepared when the storm actually hit. I was told by the doctor that IVF was an option to try but the success rate was not very good at all. Even knowing this and talking with my Husband I was determined to give it a try. But again It was out of my control, after many cycles we were still unsuccessful. We knew it was time to close that chapter and try to move on. This was an emotional roller coaster, I couldn't think of not keep trying but my body felt so exhausted after everything.

INFERTILITY AND THE SENSE OF HOPELESSNESS AND NOONE UNDERSGTANDS WHAT YOU ARE GOING THROUGH.
This feeling is so overwhelming, why me? Why won't my body do this one thing my Husband and I want so badly. I wanted so much to give this to him. Know that feeling too? The constant sense of hopelessness and worthless which lead to depression and the feeling of constant ANGER, and nobody understands. But this wasn't true. so many other women go through the same heartbreaking grieving process as I did. I was not alone.

THE FEELING THAT EVERYONE AROUND ME SEAMED TO BE GETTING PREGNANT.
Looking back now this was not true, but it sure felt like it my mind. That knawing feeling feeling being on Facebook seeing birth photos of new born babies. Even though we were struggling with Infertility I felt a sense of happiness. To me this was important as it was accepting that ot wasn't anyone's fault of my struggle and they shouldn't be punished with my feeling of anger. they deserved to be happy. I took this as a healing process for me, a chance to feel joy again. A chance to release the dark cloud above.

So know my friend that you are not alone, and there is no rule book when it comes to our feelings and emotions. I send you the biggest hug from me to you anmd hope I can help your journey be more bearable. Grab my free guide to my journey and how I found joy again, share with friends who might be going through the same thing. :Let's help each other.

SETTING GOALS WITH THIS 3 STEP PROCESS.

Setting goals can be daunting and even scary. I know they were for me. I was terrified of setting myself goals because I was stuck in the mindset that I would never achieve them. But with a lot of work on my own personal growth I unraveled what was holding me back. If you follow this three step process I promise you will find results in achieving what your passionate about. Lets dive in..

YOU MUST HAVE A SPECIFIC GOAL.
The important thing to remember when you are setting a goal for yourself is to have a clear vision of what you are trying to achieve and the goals it will take to get there. I found that journaling really helped me have a clear perspective. I could look at it every day and feel energized. It's also important to have a clear vision of what you want your dream to look like. When you have that clear vision it becomes easy to navigate the goals you need to set.

YOU MUST HAVE A PLAN TO ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS.
Once you have your goals set it's time to put a plan into place. A plan that includes time frames on achieving each goal, this will help keep your self accountable for staying on path to achieving your own greatness. A key point when putting your plan together is make sure that the goals are attainable in the time frame you have set.

YOU MUST THINK ABOUT YOUR GOALS EVERY DAY.
This is an absolute must! To stay motivated and in the present moment you need to have time every day to think about your goals. Check in with yourself and see if maybe you need to make any changes.
- How are your goals progressing?
- Is the plan you have working out as it should?
- Last but certainly not least. Think about them with excitement and determination.

When you have a plan like this in place you really can't go wrong. Yes there will be days when nothing feels like it is going right. But don't give up because the time will come when everything starts going right. Have patience with you and the plan. Remember Success does not happen overnight. I would love for you to share with me how you went following these steps to setting goals. Send me an Email lets connect.

HOW TO BE AMBITIOUS WITHOUT STRESSING OUT ALL THE TIME

Have you ever felt torn at the seam between been grateful for what you already have in your life and having that passion for wanting more. You get so wound and wired and afraid that you can't slow down and enjoy life or you will lose momentum. Well you are not alone my friend that is me!. But I want to help you. There are two key truths that I have learned from my mentors that I think is really important. Let's tale a look

The first thing is we have to TRAIN OUR SELF TO ENJOY THE JOURNEYS, because after all life is all one big journey don't you agree? So take the time and enjoy all the moments that come along in our journey's. Our lives are one big ever changing and evolving adventure. Enjoy the adventure that way we won't miss the actual point.

The second thing to lasting happiness and fulfillment is our own personal and INDIVIDUAL GROWTH. For our own growth the key is to make sure whatever we are making happen in our life is meaningful. This gives us the fuel to do more, be more and give more. Otherwise we can get in a real slum and feel lost and our creativity can become very jumbled and hazy. But when we are working on our own personal growth and seeing results from hard work and belief, we can feel proud and content. Then our stress levels are more controlled and we can enjoy life more.

There are always solutions to stress. Stress can overpower and take over our life if we let it. But if we feel both gratitude and ambition we keep the edge that's part of who we are. I have found that when I'm on top of keeping my edge and been ambitious my stress levels are more in check and in control. As we are growing and evolving we should never accept where we are in life. Why not keep striving higher with no limits and no doubts, but being ambitious can be risky there are no guarantees. I mean there are no guarantees in life but if you don';t take risks then nothing will change and happen.

It's all about the mindset. We have to train our minds to keep pushing our ambition forward and exercise our imagination. But the most important is you have to be willing to INVEST TIME IN YOUR GOALS. Without that we get nowhere real fast! So focus on attaining knowledge, not just success and recognition. I am a huge believer in SELF EDUCATION. It's part of the secret of manifesting anything you want.

When we are so ambitious our minds can get all tangled in the negativity cycle of doing more more all the time that we forget what enjoyment is . We need to enjoy our journey's and savor the journey of every goal that you achieve to show the world that special talent that only you have.

IT'S HOLIDAY TIME...AS A MUM

AHHH HOLIDAY TIME. This Mama and Daycare Mama has been on holidays with still one week to go!
Sometimes you need a holiday and not even go anywhere you agree? I decided to take these holidays to have a little bit of REST AND RELAXATION
. R and R looks so different now I'm a Mum! This Muma is still adjusting to that, stay tuned. I still have a two year old pocket rocket at home keeping me pretty busy don't forget. But I got to a point where my body was telling me it was time for a break. And it;s so important to listen to our bodies as they are the source of checking in with our self and how we are feeling.

Have you ever made all these plans for you holiday's and done absolutely nothing of what you had planned. Yep that has been me. But it's been great to just get up and let the day flow with whatever comes our way. Having a break from the normal daily work routine. I am writing this sitting here still in my PJ'S holding my morning cuppa. But of course in true holiday style they are going way too fast! Our bodies and our minds are such strong parts of our make up but we all tend to forget that sometimes they just need a break. A time to be silent and completely present in that moment of rest. I have been doing this every day. Before she wakes in the morning and when she has her lunch time nap. Just closing my eyes and listening to my breath.

These holidays I was focused on making precious memories with my beautiful little girl just the two of us. We have sung, danced, painted, drawn and of course had some retail therapy 😉 And this week we are heading to the park. Being outside in nature is the best medicine to relax and release anxiety. Have you tried? I'm open to any other suggestions, please comment and tell me how you relax and release stress from being a busy Mama I would love for you to share your story, let's connect and help each other out. So many Mum's today feel alone in this journey and need to connect with other Muma's and see that they are not alone and there is someone they can reach out to for help.

So let's connect and share our strategies and tips for how to rest and relax being a Mum. Comment  below or E Mail me and share .Let's start a positive movement for all Mum's. Are you with me?

HOW TO GET GLOWING SKIN WITHOUT THE HARSH CHEMICALS.

Looking after my skin has been a passion for me for as long as I can remember. But sometimes we forget about our poor skin, especially when you are a busy Mum! Our skin  the largest organ in the body. I remember my first paycheck I ever got I was so excited to buy the latest skincare products (and yes the ones with the harsh chemicals ). Now my skincare routine and tips look a lot different. I only use all natural plant based products, my favorite is @SUKINSKINCARE PRODUCTS. But there is a lot more to this story. Let me share with you my skincare routine and tips to get GLOWING SKIN WITHOUT THE HARSH CHEMICALS. When our skin looks glowing and healthy, we feel more confident, more healthy and more in love with being comfortable in our own skin. And this is vital when we are working hard to be the best version of our self and creating a life we love. See...it all fits together.

CHOOSING THE RIGHT SKINCARE.
This is so very important to me. Choosing a skincare range that is not only affordable but most beneficial and healthy for your skin. I started cleaning up the products I was using during our fertility struggles. I was so shocked when I looked at the ingredients of some of the products I had used, I couldn't pronounce some of  them! Your skin being the largest organ of your body absorbs everything you put on it. That's why I chose @sukinskincare will recognizable and real ingredients. You really have to know your skin type, dry or oily, sun damaged or sensitive. Know your skin type confidently before choosing your skincare products.

WHAT YOUR SKIN NEEDS IN WORKING WITH NATURAL SKINCARE.
I have learn't some valuable lessons and done a lot of research when it comes to looking after my skin. I now choose to age purely and gracefully. But there is something that is important to remember when caring for your skin. You have to care for your body internally as well. Living a clean healthy life with the foods we intake is vital to having healthy glowing skin, and of course our overall health. Our skin really thanks us when we eat those fresh fruit and vegetables. Fruit and vegetables comntain powerful antioxidants that help protect the skin from cellular damage caused by smoking, [pollution and sunlight. Our skin also feels it when we are stressed and dehydrated, drinking plenty of water is crucial to our skins health and our overall health. the skin looks vibrant and healthy when it is hydrated. And the fine lines and wrinkles will soften naturally!

IN CONCLUSION.
The main points I want you to take away from this to continue building self confidence and self love  are:
1 Stay hydrated and drink plenty of water.
2 Establish a clean and healthy diet.
3 Know your own skin type
4 Choose a natural skincare product
These are the steps I have followed for years. I want you to remember this. When your skin feels and looks good SO DO YOU.

MY GO TO WARDROBE TO FEELING COMFORTABLE IN MY OWN SKIN...

EVENING WEAR
ALL OCCASION WEAR
DAY WEAR

Comfy, short, long and flowy. I think these are the words to describe how my wardrobe pieces together. Let me start this story with when I was younger been so short (caused with having Turner syndrome) I was always self conscious of the clothes I wore that they didn't make me look even shorter. But with the confidence I have now I can rock anything girlfriend!!  Now I want you to just close your eyes and picture a wardrobe bursting at the seams!  Yes this is mine. But there are certain "favorites" that you like to keep close to the front. Does this sound like you at all?. Well I'm going to go through and share with you some my favorite picks that can be worn for both Day and evening with mixing it up with different accessories and shoes. The key my friends to looking good is letting your confidence and inner sparkle shine when you are totally comfortable in what you wear. I'm stepping out of my comfort zone and sharing with you.

DAY WEAR
This outfit is a little peak into what I like to wear If i'm going out to lunch with friends or going for a drive to the city for the day. I love skirts and dresses!!. You can always dress them up or down depending on the occasion with different accessories. Now I am only 4'11 but hey I still rock a maxi dress. And I even rock a long skirt. It's all about looking into the mirror and into your own eyes and seeing your unique personality shine through. A personality that only you can show the world to admire. I like to chose things also weather appropriate to make sure I feel great in. Here in the tropics the summers are pretty yuck!

EVENING WEAR
In the past my body shape weighed heavy on my mind.  But with a lot of soul searching and commitment to learning to love my body I love to explore different styles. For evening I also love to wear dresses, pants and top and beautiful A line skirts.  These are all pieces that you can utilize in so many different ways to make room again in your closet and never go out of style, gotta love classics. And of course I have different style shoes to match and can also dress an outfit up or keep it simple. Beautiful simple heels to sandles and slip on's.

SHOP RESPONSIBLY
This can be hard! the temptation to just buy something because it's really nice. Iv'e learnt when I shop now I think of what I have In my wardrobe and can go with what I am looking at buying. I am also tying to understand the term 'ethical fashion' by looking at things that cover things like working conditions, animal welfare and of course our environment. My biggest goal is to be a conscious shopper and only choosing things I feel good in !!

BEING A TURNER SYNDROME BUTTERFLY...

Turner Syndrome...My journey started on November 2, 1977. I was born into a family with two wonderful parents. In my early childhood I was a happy little girl. The one difference was my height, I was a lot shorter than other girls. Now this didn't worry me at all, I embraced my height and was still a happy little girl.

Then...everything changed once I started my school years. Primary school I started to become very self conscious and more aware of my height and so did the other kids. There was the teasing because of my height. And this continued into high school. I had my Best friend and other close friends but I did find it hard to meet and make new friends. My Mum took me to see a Gynecologist when I was 12. After test were done it was diagnosed I had Turner Syndrome. I found it could just be diagnosed with looking at the girl, extensive blood testing was needed to make a confirmed diagnosis. TS, what the heck was that!!. So the researching and talking to different doctors help us have a better understanding of what it was. With time my attitude changed and I started to learn to love myself for who I was.

Turner Syndrome..never heard of it?
Why Me?

So as the years went by I had everything fixed, my ears after years of trouble. And the narrowing in my aortic valve. Heart problems is a main feature of TS. Then started my thyroid journey to getting it sorted out, now we have it under control most of the time. This was such a confusing and scary time but one step at a time I got through it, and still am following this motto at 42! My turning point was actually 3 or 4 years ago I started really accepting and embracing me, and doing my own research into TS and deciding I needed to become a Butterfly to raise awareness. I thought to myself, there are other girls/women out there as scared and confused as I was. I wanted to let them know that they are not alone. And to seek help and get the questions answered you have. For me I really struggled with infertility and took a long tome to get to the place I am now.

So the purpose of this story is never judge a book by it's cover and to make a statement. NEVER let anyone make you feel as though you are worthless or different. Don't define your limits of you you are because I'm here to tell you there are no limits. You are capable of living your dreams. So go and live them beautiful butterfly. I might have turner syndrome but a hell of as lot of determination has made me who I am today.

Are you as Turner Syndrome Butterfly ? or do you know someone who is. I would love for you to share this as raise more awareness that we are not different and we do fit in.....

HOW TO STAY MOTIVATED IN LIFE..

What is motivation?
Sometimes I surly do lack it. You too? Well motivation is the reasons for our actions, and the willingness for our goals. It is our needs, desires and drives within us as individuals. Does this make sense? Motivation is one of the key components that will help us achieve those goals. If we have motivation we will have SATISFACTION and growth in our own PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT. Life is like a roller coaster and we tend to let that motivation disappear. Motivation helps us get up early and be productive. It is also the key to success and being successful in achieving your dream and living a life you love. OK, now lets dive in a little more....

My journey with motivation has been a dang rocky one...can you relate?  But after chipping away at the fears and self doubt, I can craft my motivation in a way that serves my dreams and goals in life. That was when I really started to see results in my life and my goals. So I would like to share with you some tips to help  you do the same and find that motivation for yourself as they did me sound darn good? OK my friend here we go......don't forget to take notes!

1- Don't assume Money will motivate you. Love what you do and relish in the enjoyment of doing something that makes you happy.
2- Keep that bigger picture in mind!! Think of what will be waiting for you after you put in all the hard work and get to exactly where you want to be. This is a HUGE motivator.
3- Make sure they are your goals! Tap into what it really is you want. Is this your goal?  Or are you doing it to please other people?
4- Break the Goals down into smaller pieces. By doing this things can seem more easily achievable and not so overwhelming. You are also covering all bases and seeing if there is anything you have forgotten.
5- Tap into other peoples energy. This is a key part for me. Having mentors with incredible energy and vibe that you can feed of is the best motivator!.

Oh my gosh!! what did you think? I really hope this inspired you to take action. If it did let me know. I would love to hear from you. Share this with a friend who needs a little inspiration to find their own motivation. But don't be hard on yourself girl!! we all go through stages where we lose some motivation or aren't feeling "In the groove". With these personal tips I have followed I know you will find it again. I BELIEVE IN YOU... and I want you to BELIEVE IN YOURSELF. If there is anything you feel you need help with or want me to write more on I would love you to send me an E Mail and connect with me. TIPS FOR MUM'S WORKING FROM HOME .

Hello there!! I'm a Mum to a beautiful energetic two year old little girl and I also work from home with My own Business as a daycare Mum. The idea of working from home having my own business has always been a dream and I love it!! But it also comes with some certain components that that I really nurture and listen too. You really have to dig deep and listen to your inner voice and how you are feeling. I love working from home. But I want to share with you my important practices that I follow to keep myself from feeling reclusive and isolated. Strategies that will help make your journey more like the dream you visioned.

DRESS FOR SUCCESS..
Yeah you!! You are beautiful....dress to make you feel good and motivated and comfortable. I love sometimes to even put a sparkly headband in my hair, the ,kids love it!! Why not put on some lippy and a nice shade of blush on the cheeks to feel  happy and glowing. Heck why not do a twirl like Cinderella. Feel the good vibrations and how successful you are girl!! Why not even put on a nice bright colored pair of earrings. The point is to make you feel how successful and confident you are. Even if you are at home!! Now I love been in comfy yoga pants and my slippers just like you, but we need to make the time to make ourselves feel good about ourselves and feel how awesome we are as Mumma's and Girl Bosses.

CONSTRUCT YOUR SCHEDULE AND BLOCK OFF YOUR TIME.
Since Starting my own business from home in 2018 One of the most important things Iv'e learned is that you have to construct your schedule in a very active way that serves both your business and you...don't forget you. This is time that I turn off from business mode and turn too me mode. This is time that you carve out every day where you just completely focus on you. Time to clear your mind, take a deep breath and do something that makes you feel relaxed. Some tips that I love are:
1- I love listening to inspirational podcasts to help me feel inspired and in a calm mindset.
2- Carve a little break to read .Weather it be a book, articles or inspiring magazines. This allows your mind to shift direction for a while to help you from feeling too overwhelmed. Can you relate o this? I know I sure can.
3- One of my favorite things to do is just sit, close my eyes and takes some slow easy breaths. Acknowledge what comes into your mind and let it float by coming back to your breath.
Give these things a try!! I know they will help you too. Send me an Email and connect with me to let me know if they helped you.

FAMILY CHORE TIME..
Chore time... ugh. It's never ending right? Sometimes it feels like there is not enough hours in the day. Do you feel like this too? But there are ways to make this less painful and more productive. Make a plan to follow every day. A plan that the whole family can be a part of and have a role to play in the day to day chores. Then carve out time that suits your families schedule. This is also a great way to have some extra family time as well as allow more time for you to enjoy being a Mum. This is also something that can strengthen your Families bond. So make it more of a fun time rather than just chore time, the kids might even be excited!!

KEEP EARLY HOURS..
It's your business...and your choice to make. It's hard being a Mum and working. Make hours that suit you and your family. We don't need to work 12 hours a day. Could we..YES of course but make the choice not to. It's so super important to make sure we don't burn ourselves out, just take it one step and task at a time. I have really come to realize this and I hope to help you realize it too. Give yourself the time to have with family in the afternoon.  My daughter loves when it'a time to put the washing on, her favorite thing to do is take the clothes out of the basket and put in the machine, she loves it!!! ( And Mummy doesn't mind either 😊 ) Try and see if it works for you too.

Working from home can great!! I wouldn't have it any other way now. But in my journey I have found that it can be isolating. Which is why I wanted to write this to help all the other Mum's who might be embarking on this journey. Don't forget time to go have that coffee with a friend or go shopping with your Mum, friend or even Hubby!. Craft time to get out in the sunshine and breathe in some fresh air. When you allow time for this it makes the wonderful experience of working from home that much more rewarding and enjoyable. I would love to hear about your journey of working from home. Send me an E mail and lets connect. Until next time

ACCEPTING YOUR BODY FLAWS...

Accepting Your Body Flaws. Something we ass women all struggle with. But believe me when I say YOU ARE PERFECT in every way, JUST THE WAY YOU ARE. Now when I say body flaws I don't mean body shape or image. I'm talking about health and medical issues. I know I'm not alone in this journey, can you relate? We spend so much time trying to create our bodies into something that it isn't. Instead of celebrating it's beauty as it is. My journey into accepting my body has been rocky and emotional. My body has never really done anything it is supposed to, I have had and still do a lot of battles but I am at a more peaceful and loving place with my body. I can look in the mirror and smile. We are all unique and there is only one of us and this world needs us!!

Have you ever asked yourself 'What is normal? I have so many times and sometimes still do. But I have learned that there is no such thing. Everybody's life is so different with different challenges and battles to fight. I now know to live a full and happy life I had to accept my body for all that is is. Waking every day to our beautiful little girl and breathing is the most precious gift I can receive. It is so important to fully embrace our imperfections, let go of identifying our self as inadequate and embrace the wholeness of our being. I only ever looked at myself as a person full of flaws, I never looked inside to see the beauty and potential of the person I really was.

Growing up I made a very big mistake, a common mistake I think we all as women make. I let the challenges I was facing steel away my joy and happiness. I let everything I went through take control and that's all I could see. I didn't think I would have any happiness or success in my life. But once I started embracing my body and loving myself for who I was, a whole new world of opportunity opened up for me. I began to have more confidence. It didn't matter what I did my body wasn't going to change, I couldn't change what was. But I could accept it and see all the joy I ahve in my life.  So I decided to embrace it with strength and courage and share my story to help other women.

Can you relate to this? are you going through the same as what I did? I would love you to share your story send me an Email and lets lift each other up. Sharing my story was a pivotal step in chasing my dreams and creating a life I love. Is this easy? NO not at all, but one step at a time with learning to love you for exactly as you are is a good start. Always remember you are beautiful just as you are. Let your true beauty shine through for the world to see and be inspired by. If this ha inspired you comment and let me know.

FINDING THE CALL WHEN YOU DON'T HEAR IT...

Honestly....I had no idea that there was something important that I had to do In this life. I had no idea that the challenges that I have faced in this life have given me the strength to reach out to other women and help them find their STRENGTH and CONFIDENCE. To help other women learn to love themselves for the beautiful human being that they are. And I certainly didn't think I could do something as important as help finding their purpose in this world. I spent so many years being angry with life and hating my life and body. Can you relate to this? But now I can see clearly the life I want to create for my family. And the legacy that I want to leave for my daughter. Lets dive in and break this down. Are you ready to FIND YOUR CALL.

Growing up I never thought that I was just me, I never really did anything special or was good at anything like sports or music. I didn't finish high school or go to university. And I thought that these things are what I needed to do something definitive with my life and make an impact. Is this you as well?  HOW WRONG WAS I...  I will let you in on a little secret. YOU HAVE A SUPERPOWER..WE AS WOMEN ALL DO.  There is a super power inside every one of us that when you find it and tap into it can make a huge impact on making a difference and making this universe a better place. Just think for a second. What is something you do that helps others, something that others turn to you for advice on or feel comfortable talking to you about.  Something maybe you don't realize that you feel comfortable with and makes you feel good and you are confident with. This just might be your superpower.

When we tap into our superpower, a whole new world of opportunity, abundance and success will open up. The dream I had of making an impact in this world I know now is coming true every day. Now just like everything else good and worthwhile in this life takes hard work and dedication. There is no such thing as overnight success. The beauty of success is it happens step by step with everything we do and every breath we take. I believe it's meant to happen this way so we can savor every milestone and the hard work it took to get there. I have always believed that there is a special reason each and every one of us were put in this earth. A special gift that we had to navigate life and find what that was. What is your super power ? would love for you to share with us.

But I've also come to realize that this isn't true for everyone. Some if us are actually really lucky to be born with knowing our super power at a very early age. And our vision for the future can already be seen as a possibility. The process of finding our call is not the same for all of us. Each of our life pictures are very different with different experiences and challenges. And the journey in which we find our own call in this life can be both a challenge and a great personal development road. Unlocking more about our self than we ever though was possible. Whatever your journey is enjoy the ride and know that your super power can and will  make a difference in your life as well as others. Believe in you and know that the POSSIBILITIES ARE ALWAYS ENDLESS...

A NEW BRAND:THE VISION OF YOGAWANDERER.

Would you agree with me when I say that our path in life can change so softly and quietly that you may almost miss it!! Well this happened to me. Three years ago I found Yoga and instantly though YES this is what I'm meant to do. This is where I truly shine, but in all honesty it was just the beginning of my journey to come. And the endless possibilities that were waiting for Yoga Wanderer. The start of realizing my true purpose.

Having the revelation three years ago that my story could make a difference and an impact in other women's lives changed everything for me. I went from a shy, sit in the corner gal to a gal who had something dang important to say..... and I was so passionate about saying it. I knew that I had a gift to help other women find their confidence and find their purpose in this life and believe in their dreams. Believe that we can be a Wife, Mother and career driven to create a life you love doing what you love. A special space just for us to reconnect and lift each other up.

Now I am going to be completely honest. I struggle with finding the balance to do all what I want to do. But I'll let you in on a little secret....THERE IS NO BALANCE. It is just a flow that you have to learn to flow with and take one step at a time. Living in this new season as A Mum, the whole game has changed. And for the better of course!! But I think we are both still adjusting to finding what works for us. But there is so much that I have to give other women to help them be the best version of themselves.

The vision I have for this journey.....I want to share my story with other women . I want other women to realize that even though our journey may be challenge after challenge, battle after battle. This does not define what our life will become or what we are capable of achieving. We need to use these to make us stronger, and drive us to achieving our success. I want to share my strategies and tips that have helped pave the way to becoming the women I want to be. A woman and legacy my daughter can be proud of and one day if she chooses continue to grow and expand. Another passion and vision I have is to create my own masterminds. Bringing women together to share each of our unique stories, and to educate women to love and believe in them self just as they are.

I am so looking forward to taking this journey with you. I would love feedback from you what you need help with in your life. What content would you love to see from me? from the bottom of my heart I thank you for all of your support. You are amazing!! You are unique!! You are beautiful!!
You can achieve anything!!

SIX MONTHS OF OUR SHINING LITTLE STAR..

Well we are a little late with this one. Things have been so crazy, stay tuned I will have a blog post coming up soon on what's been happening..  But how can this be. Where has the time gone!! She is growing so fast and becoming her own feisty, very determined young lady. every day there is so much she is learning and developing. We have trouble keeping up seriously, everyday she surprises us with something new. Something sassy and bold. But here is a recap of six months with our shining star.

WHAT HAVE WE BEEN UP TOO....
The last month has felt really busy!! But at the same time our schedules and routines still seem to be going really well. Our little rocket is thriving and full of laughs and yes mischief !! (But that is the same with every two year old toddler right?) Daddy has been working hard and Mummy is really busy with the Daycare Business. How I'm doing both.....I STILL HAVE NO IDEA but I'm doing it. the last month we have found that she truly loves been outside and loves to look at the moon. Every night before bed we take her out to see the moon and the starts. She is always constantly looking for the moon. Maybe a budding astrologist on our hands!!

OVER THE LAST MONTH WE...
Over the last month we have had some major breakthroughs. She actually ate spaghetti!! She will eat just plain cooked pasta but not with any sauce. But the other day she did. We made a big thing that it was Daddy's special spaghetti 😃 let's see how it goes next time. Another breakthrough is she is starting to put words together to make little sentences. Such a big girl now. Over the last month we have had to lean on family for some help, so our girl has loved spending time with her Grandmas and her Aunty. We are also still in learning to be gentle with the puppies. She just loves them but can still be a little rough sometimes, but we are getting better. They really love to be close to her and see what she is up too.

HOW IS MUMMA DOING...
These last months have been like a whirlwind, busy and jam packed. And this Mumma is ready for a break very soon to recharge and just relax from the every day. I've realized all my time has been devoted to working and Mothering. I think it's time for a little more Mummy time. I feel like Iv'e stopped doing things that I love because there aren't enough hours in the day. But I am a go getter and doer so I will find my place again. Life gets full of crazy schedules but it is important to remember that you have to make time for you and what you love. Don't loose you in all the craziness. Keep chasing those dreams and be the best version of you that you can.

THIS MONTH CAN BE SUMMARIZED...
This month can be summarized as a month of revelations about our self and our own self care. To be the best mummy I have to sometimes put myself first to be the best I can for her. It can also be summarized as a month of growth and development for our little shining star. She is growing up so quickly before our eyes and we want to take in every precious moment. Stay tuned very soon for our seven month recap!!

REVAMP OF A DAY IN THE LIFE OF KRISTI MENSO.

Hey there, I had an idea. It's been a while now since I let you in on what happens in a day in the life of Kristi Menso. And boy there have been a lot of changes in my life. Heck I'M A MUM NOW... So lets do a revamp of a typical day in my life. Are you ready? here we go.......the timeline begins..

THE START OF THE DAY....
4.45am, the alarm goes off. But usually I like to lie for a minute and take a breath in. Since becoming a Mum I work really hard to maintain a productive and healthy routine. Life is so CRAZY  busy and you have to have routine to make things run smoothly you agree? Once I'm up the normal house chores happen. Making the bed and unstacking the dishwasher. Now because I'm obsessed with being super organized..just ask my husband!  all our lunches are done and ready to go in the fridge.

Then it's time to put washing on and have a shower and get myself ready for the day before our shining star wakes ups!. Once I've had a shower it's time to open up my Daycare room downstairs. Now if all goes well and baby girl is still sleeping (which she usually is) I get ready for the day, start paperwork and have everything ready for our activities for the day. Now most mornings I then make my coffee and sit down and put my head phones on and listen to one of my favorite podcasts while having my coffee. By that time our shining star is awake and ready to get up have her breakfast, bath and start her day.

LUNCH TIME AND NAP TIME...
After a busy morning of learning and playing at Daycare with mummy, it's well and truly time for a healthy lunch and hopefully a nice long nap. All my kids are on their beds and ready for lights out at 12 o'clock. once everyone is tucked in and sleeping soundly it's Miss Kristi's time for a healthy lunch, a bit of a rest and get some work done. While the kids are sleeping I give myself time to rest and then get some work done, daily paperwork, put tea on and fold washing (It never ends does it!!) and my writing for you !! for the Blog and Instagram. You can also follow me on Instagram @kristisinspiration. But as a Mum you know sleep times can change! So I take every day as it comes and GO WITH THE FLOW. It is sp important to give myself to just be still, close my eyes and refocus on what is happening for the rest of the afternoon.

AFTERNOON AND FINISHING TIME...
Afternoons we like to spend outside in the fresh air playing. Once everyone is awake and had afternoon tea we make our way outside with our hats for some more play time. The kids love having a swing and a slide. Not to mention racing while riding bikes. Miss Kristi holding her breath!! Once it  gets close to pick up time we go back in side to wash our face and hand, tidy up toys ready to go home. Then I start to empty the bin wipe table and equipment down with disinfectant ready for the next day.

SUMMARY OF MY NORMAL DAY..
OK... you have probably noticed my day is a normal, Mummy typical, crazy busy day. But it somehow all works. How about you? What is your typical day like? Does it sometimes feel like a roller coaster!! I'M HEARING YA... but i can't stress enough how important it is among the chaos to take time to breathe and refocus and check in with yourself. Ask yourself "How am I doing"? Never be afraid to ask for help.

I'M SAYING GOODBYE TO MY YOGA PANTS.

Breathe, just breathe. This is not a typo, no this is real and full of emotion. But both you and I know that life changes with every single breath we take can you relate? Yoga will always be a huge part of my spiritual being as is the meditation practice I do every single day. You know me..I lived in my Yoga Pants! They became a part of my identity and a comfortable part of me. I had all designs and colors to match my bubbly personality. But as my body continues to change with having Turner Syndrome, I have had to learn to evolve and change with it. And I have had to do a lot more work with coming to terms with my fear.

When Yoga and meditation came into my life, I started to come alive. And as my practice grew I continued to learn so much about myself. Yoga is what taught me to accept what I couldn't change about myself and embrace it with strength and courage. But as life does, it threw another great challenge at me. With no warning I began going into Atrial Fibrillation which is a chronic heart disease. The electrical wiring from the brain to the heart gets all haywire and the heart starts beating at irregular rhythms working a lot harder than it should. This means hospital time!!

So after this settled it was a waiting game to see if it happened again, 80% of people will get it once and never happen again, 20% will then continue to get. Can you guess which one was I ? As life would have it It did happen again and again! I learnt very early on that my physical body had changed for ever. I continued my Yoga practice but the fear of elevating my heart rate was frightening! It was finding a balance of when it was enough. I saw my Practice begin to completely change.

THIS CHALLENGED ME TO MY CORE! I had no idea what to do with this...I didn't wan't things to change. My yoga was right where I wanted it to be. I wanted my body to be where it was. Can you relate to this happening in your life? So in true Kristi style I began some soul searching to find where to from here. I started to look deep into my spiritual knowledge of Yoga and found there were no boundaries with Yoga. It would be whatever I needed it to be. I redefined my practice and found a new comfortable for me. I started to see a new pathway form in front of my eyes. Have you ever had to do this too?

Do you agree this evolving and changing thing is constantly challenging us? ✋ I do.... My Yoga Pants will always be a part of me and my journey of finding who I was. So don't panic. I will sneak in a little photo in my Yoga pants from time to time 😉 I promise !!  Don't be afraid of change. Use that fear to embrace it and all that is about to come. Life is unpredictable. If you love hearing my life stories and challenges for inspiration don't forget to subscribe for helping you to live a life you truly love.
